Fans of Coronation Street think that Abi Franklin is morphing into her friend Sally Metcalfe.
Abi first appeared in 2017 as Seb’s alcoholic, drug-addict mother.
She is also mum to twins Charlie and Lexi.

Since she overdosed and lost custody of the twins, Abi has tried to get her life back together with the help of Sally.
Abi shared a cell with Sally in prison and even punched Sally in the face to help Sal get her court date pushed back.

During their time in prison the pair forged a close friendship.
Sally has encouraged Abi to get her qualifications and go for job interviews.
She even gave her friend clothes for the interviews and allowed her to move into No.4 with her, husband Tim and Tim’s daughter Faye, who previously dated Seb.
Abi appears to have made a life for herself on the cobbles and it also looks like there’s going to be a spark between her and Sally’s ex-husband Kevin Webster.
Viewers have noticed Abi is slowly turning into Sally, especially with her new haircut and possible romance with Kevin.
