Coronation Street actress Alexandra Mardell has shared holiday snaps from Verona in Italy.
The Corrie star, who plays Emma Brooker in the ITV soap, posted the pictures to her Instagram account.

In one picture, Ali posted a picture of a pink scooter which she captioned: “Verona” with a love heart emoji.
In anther picture she can be seen enjoying some food and drinks with her boyfriend Joe.

During their time in Italy, Joe played Mercuctio in Romeo and Giulietta (Romeo and Juliet).

Ali attended the first performance in Verona and revealed she was “super proud” of Joe who only had an hour and a half rehearsal time before the show.

It looks like the pair continued to enjoy Italy as Ali took a picture of Joe preparing to eat a pizza in a restaurant near the beach.
Ali captioned the picture: “These are a few of my favourite things…”
Ali joined the Coronation Street cast last year as salon apprentice Emma.
During her time, Emma hasn’t had a huge storyline, however it seems there will be heartbreak in store when she makes a shock discovery about her dad next week.
It has been reported that the Coronation Street favourite is set to have her life turned upside down when her dad suddenly passes away, only to then discover her biological dad is none other than cobbles legend Steve McDonald.
Reports suggest that Emma’s next big storyline is set to pave the way for the character’s mum Fiona Middleton, played by former Corrie favourite Angela Griffin, to make a comeback – and next week sees this potential storyline kicking off when Emma gets some shocking news.
Emma is upset to hear that her dad is in hospital and is determined to go and visit him. But when Gemma desperately needs someone to babysit Joseph for her, Emma agrees and puts visiting her dad on the back burner.
However, the hairdressing apprentice is really fed up when she later ends up looking after Maria’s son Liam as well as Joseph, knowing that seeing her dad any time soon is looking more and more unlikely.
When Emma finally gets to visit her dad in hospital, she is heartbroken to discover he has been diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer.
She returns to the cobbles in a state of shock.
Maria is there to give her friend a shoulder to cry on, but it’s clear Emma is really worried about what the future might hold for her family.

To make matters worse, Emma, who hasn’t spoken much about her family since arriving in Weatherfield last year, opens up to Maria about her mum.
The hairdresser reveals that her mum lives in Australia but has refused to come home despite the fact her father’s diagnosis doesn’t look good.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
