David Platt will still be in prison in Coronation Street for months yet – and it looks like he’s going to have to face rapist Josh Tucker behind bars.
Hairdresser David was sent to prison after breaking the terms of his probation when he took part in brother Nick Tilsley’s scheme to steal Audrey’s money.
But fans hoping for David’s early release will be disappointed as the soap has given a sneak peek at filming for this week and David is still locked up.
More than that, David will still be behind bars for at least six more weeks, which is the time ahead that Corrie films at.
Spoiler fans with good memories will remember that David’s rapist Josh will soon make a comeback to the cobbles – or at least the set.

Actor Ryan Clayton posted a picture of the Corrie set last week confirming Josh’s comeback.
But with David in prison, the only way for Josh to see David and for his return to make sense would be for Josh to be locked up too.
Josh’s shocking return comes 18 months after he sexually assaulted David.
During a night out between the former friends, Josh drugged and raped David, before trying to convince his victim, and everyone else, they’d had consensual sex.
