Actress Kerri Quinn, who plays Vicky Jefferies in Coronation Street, has confirmed her character’s exit in a “big storyline”.
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph about comments she received from online from trolls, she also talked about leaving the soap.
“It’s been crazy” she said.
“It started off as ten weeks and just got extended and extended. It’s been an amazing experience – but it wasn’t going to last forever.
“My last filming days are in the first week of November. It’s okay, all things come to an end.
“Vicky has to go out on a big storyline – and she definitely will.”
Viewers first saw Vicky last year, mum of troublesome teenager Tyler.
She appeared through Amy Barlow’s pregnancy storyline as her son Tyler was the father of her baby.

Tyler told Robert about the baby just moments before he popped the question to Michelle.
In a twist, he ended up proposing to Vicky when she found the engagement ring and assumed he planned on proposing to her.
