Weatherfield’s latest villain Gary Windass is not about to get caught any time soon, according to his alter ego, Mikey North.
Gary was revealed as Coronation Street‘s newest baddie earlier this year when he was named as the person responsible for the factory roof collapse.
His tampering with the already unsafe roof caused the death of Rana Habeeb, but Gary has yet to come clean about his full invovlement.

He has subsequently killed loan shark Rick Neelan and taken over his business, and started a feud with Ryan Connor.
Fans haven’t been too impressed with Gary going bad and have been calling for the plot to end.
But it looks like that end is not in sight as Mikey revealed in interview with Inside Soap magazine: “Gary will carry on getting away with things for a while yet, but there’s a lot of twists coming.
“His mind is warped into thinking he can walk over anyone – he has nothing to lose, so he’s scared of nobody!”
But we could be seeing a softer side to him again…
“There’s a new romance in the pipeline, which might spark Gary back to reality,” he added.
“Apart from his kids, he’s not got a lot to live for. And that’s what makes him dangerous, I think…”
A woman would have to be a strong one to take him on given his history.
Even Mikey recently admitted he was “traumatised” by his aggressive break-up scenes with Tina O’Brien‘s Sarah Platt.
He told OK! magazine: “Tina’s really turned my time around at Corrie.
“Things were going a bit sideways for me, but when our characters got put together, I started enjoying it more than ever.
“I feel like I’m stretching myself as an actor again.
“This year has been the highlight of my time there.
“But when we had to do the break-up scenes and I threw her around the room a little bit, it wasn’t easy. The tears were real.”
His wife, Rachael Isherwood, added: “You were quite traumatised weren’t you?”
However, the 32-year-old actor loves playing the villain on television and relishes having fans yelling at him down the street – but he warned they are only going to get more infuriated thanks to Gary’s antics.
He said: “I love it… I was asked to introduce a band on stage at a gig in Manchester recently, and I got booed! You almost take it a bit to heart.
“But wait until you see what happens to Gary in the next six months! I want to punch myself, never mind how everyone else feels!”

The actor, who’s been part of Coronation Street since 2008, doesn’t plan to leave the long-running show.
Meanwhile, Mikey and Rachael’s two-year-old son Archie has started copying his character’s explosive behaviour.
The couple are expecting their second child, a little girl, due in August.
They revealed they’ve already picked out a name, but are keeping it a secret until she arrives.
