Sue Cleaver has lost an impressive three stone, and did it for her partner and son, it has been revealed.
The Coronation Street actress, 55, has lost the weight gradually after deciding to become a healthier person for her family.
She also suffers from Type 2 Diabetes, which is often linked to being overweight or inactive.

The soap actress underwent a complete overhaul of her diet and adopted a new health and fitness regime, according to Woman.
The magazine reports that Sue now wants to drop to a size 12-14 from her current size 16, which she achieved after making big changes to her diet.
A source told the publication: “Sue was always a self-confessed foodie, who admitted that over-indulgence was her Achilles Heel. Now everything’s changed.”

They continued: “Sue’s in her mid-fifties, so it was a no-brainer that cutting down on certain things was what she had to do. She’s in this for the long game and wants to live a long, happy and healthy life.”
The report also said that Sue embarked on the changes for her partner and son Elliot.
It’s no secret that the actress is a big dog lover, and keeps fit by walking her beloved Staffie every day, as well as going on bike rides.
She also follows a healthy, Mediterranean-diet with high-protein and low-GI and has “dramatically reduced her sugar intake”.
Sue has previously spoken out about suffering from Type 2 Diabetes and is a supporter of the charity Diabetes UK.
Her condition came to light after she collapsed at work in 2011 and was rushed to hospital.
At the time, The Sun reported that her diabetes had been the cause of the illness.
Speaking out while supporting Diabetes Week last year, Sue told Diabetes Advice: “Having good control of diabetes is really important – after all, people with the condition live with it every day, taking care of their diet and physical activity levels.”
Diabetes is a condition that occurs when the amount of glucose (sugar) in the blood is too high because the body can’t use it properly.
If left untreated, high blood glucose levels can cause serious health complications.
Celebs Tom Hanks, Susan Boyle, Cheryl Fergison and Sir Steve Redgrave also suffer from the illness.
