There’s drama heading for Coronation Street next week when Tim Metcalfe finds himself arrested after rushing to the aid of sister-in-law Gina Seddon after she gets into trouble.
Corrie fans will know that Gina has been harbouring secret feelings for Tim for weeks, while her sister Sally is locked up for a crime she didn’t commit.
But while until this point Gina’s feelings haven’t been reciprocated, could Tim’s arrest hint at a change in the dynamics between the pair?

When Gina finds herself in trouble, she calls Tim for help. Being the kind brother-in-law that he is, he jumps into action and races to Gina’s aid in his cab.
But there’s just one problem – he’s been drinking.
Cabbie Tim quickly catches the unwanted attention of the police and the evening starts to take a dark turn.
The official Coronation Street website has revealed: “Thinking Gina is in trouble, Tim races to find her. But when the police pull up with questions about Tim’s erratic driving, Tim tries to explain that he thought Gina was in trouble.
“But an officer smells alcohol on his breath and Gina is left feeling guilty as Tim is bundled into the back of a police car. Will they be okay?”
Not only does this mean Tim is at risk of losing his licence and therefore his job, but does the fact he races to Gina’s aid so quickly hint at some developing feelings from the Street Cars worker?
