Tim Metcalfe’s cheeky comment leaves Coronation Street fans in stitches

Tim Metcalfe shocked fans into hysterics last night, when he made a very cheeky admission.

The taxi driver left ITV viewers collapsed in giggles when he said how hungry he was after a day trying to help his jailed wife Sally.

Some people might have described themselves as “ravenous” or “famished”.

Others might have even said they could “eat a horse”.

But, no, Tim set his sight on the posterior of a devout woman of religion!

After discovering that his sister-in-law Gina was planning to move out so Sally could have a relaxing yoga room waiting for her when she is released, he convinced her to stay.

He told her: “You’re going nowhere. Except to the kitchen to dish out my curry while I put this bag back in your room.”

Errrrr, hasn’t he heard that men are allowed in the kitchen these days?

When he returned downstairs, his next comment creased viewers up.

He said: “Ooh I could eat a nun’s bum through a convent gate.”

Well, we can honestly say we’ve never heard ANYBODY say that before on British TV.

Fans of the soap flocked to social media to remark on the funny comment, with one saying: “Did Tim say he could eat a nuns bum? #Corrie.”

Another said: “‘I could eat a nun’s bum through a convent gate’ Ooooooerrrr #Corrie.”
