Coronation Street fans spat out their tea in shock when Steve McDonald cheated on his fiancée Tracy Barlow last night (Wednesday 26 September).
The daft Street Cars owner jumped into bed with a sozzled Leanne Battersby, after realising that he doesn’t want to get married for the seventh time – well not to Tracy anyway!

After a few drinks and a bit of reminiscing, the pair ended up in the sack – but were caught out by Tracy’s brother Peter and Tim Metcalfe.
As Peter looked incredulous and angry, a half-naked Steve sheepishly explained: “It’s not what it looks like… the thermostat’s broken.”
While some fans couldn’t believe Steve had cheated on another partner yet again, many others were leaping ahead to another possible twist.
That the indiscretion ends with Leanne getting pregnant!

While Tracy is the mother of Steve’s daughter Amy, Steve also has baby son Ollie with Leanne – yes it’s complicated.
So it’s not entirely unbelievable that Leanne could become pregnant again!
That’s what one fan predicted anyway, saying: “So #Corrie are gonna get Leanne pregnant to Steve again.”
Another agreed, writing: “Can’t help but think how amusing it would be if Leanne & Steve created another little person from that second brief encounter.”
Steve MacDonald has probably got Leanne pregnant again.

A third joked: “Steve MacDonald has probably got Leanne pregnant again. They are both so fertile! Nick Tilsley will come back to Leanne being pregnant to a one night stand with Steve – again!”
Baby or no baby – and, to be fair, it’s early days – Steve is due to marry Tracy in just a few days.
Steve had been under the assumption that his future wife had given him a “free pass” to cheat before the wedding.
But what she’d actually done was given him a free pass to the spa where they were supposed to be holding their wedding.
Baby Oliver was also conceived during an illicit affair between Leanne and Steve, while he was married to Michelle Connor.
The sorry saga ended in tragedy, as Michelle lost the baby she was having with Steve – and then found out he was the father of Leanne’s baby.
