Michelle Connor will find herself reluctantly drawn into a dark and dangerous world of drugs in coming months, according to a report in The Sun.
The tabloid claims that she will lie for ‘son’ Ryan after he gets caught up with some wrong uns, and supplies a fatal dose of pills to his friend, Cormack.
Cormack dies in Michelle’s flat… and, desperate to protect her loved one, she convinces her biological son Ali Neeson and Sophie Webster to cover for Ryan.
However, the plot grows even more sinister when Sophie backs out and retracts her statement to police, leaving Ryan’s alibi looking shaky.
It seems the party boy has well and truly upset someone, as he ends up in a high-speed car chase, and his life is left hanging in the balance, after he’s injured in an ensuing horror smash.
The Sun’s source alleges: “It looks like Ryan has got in with the wrong crowd.
“It’s going to culminate in a high-speed crash which leaves him in a coma fighting for his life.”
Their report also features pictures of Michelle at the scene of the crash – although apparently unhurt. Will she also be involved in the accident?
Yesterday pictures emerged of Ali at the scene of a crash, his hands covered in blood. Leanne and a man believed to be Michelle’s uncle – sporting a nasty head wound – were also snapped.
Are they ALL involved in one dreadful accident?

Michelle’s been trying really hard to keep the peace after both her ‘sons’ arrived back in Weatherfield earlier this year.
She had raised Ryan from being a baby and discovered when he was a teenager that he’d been switched with another tot at the hospital.
Her ‘real’ son Alex came to live with her for a while, but it was a struggle for him to come to terms with the confusing situation, and he left again.
Alex came back to Coronation Street, now called Ali, as a trainee GP. Actor James Burrows, who plays him, has hinted at some dark secrets to come from his character.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV
