Last night Corrie viewers were very confused by Leanne’s choice of dinner.
When Leanne was leaving the cafe, Shona asked her friend if she was up to anything nice and she responded: “Well Steve’s got Oliver so it looks like scrambled egg in a mug.”
Viewers were both mystified and a little disgusted by Leanne’s ‘scrambled egg in a mug’ and couldn’t wait to share it on Twitter…

For anyone who is unsure what scrambled egg in a mug is, er, it is scrambled egg but in a mug instead of a plate or a bowl. (Happy to help!)
This isn’t the fist time viewers have questioned a soap character’s food choices. Last week fans felt “sick” by Graham from Emmerdale’s breakfast choice as he opted to have beer in his cereal instead of milk.

Leanne had an argument with Imran in last night’s episode after he suggested she and Nick planned to take his wife Elsa’s money. Nick explained to Imran the money was from a joint account.
The pair eventually made up and she agreed to go into work the next day, no doubt fuelled by more scrambled egg in a mug!
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV.
