EastEnders’ Adam Woodyatt shares a photo as he prepares for Celebrity MasterChef

Adam plays Ian Beale in EastEnders

Actor Adam Woodyatt, who plays Ian Beale in EastEnders, has shared a photo as he prepares for Celebrity MasterChef.

Adam posted the picture to his Instagram page.

The 51-year old captioned his post: “Here we go @masterchefuk #celebritymasterchef.”

Fans rushed to comment on his post. One wrote: “Woop. Go on, Adam.”

A second commented: “Good luck.”

A third said: “Looking forward to it! x”

Also competing in this year’s series is Vicky Pattison, Joey Essex, Dr Alex George, Oti Mabuse, Jenny Ryan, Josie Long, Rickie-Haywood Williams, Judge Jules, Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock, Tomasz Schafernaker, Andy Grant, who was voted off the first show on Wednesday (September 5), Dame Zandra Rhodes, Kellie Maloney, Dillian Whyte, Greg Rutherford, Martha Reeves, Dom Parker, Mim Shaikh and Elizabeth Bourgine.

Adam joined EastEnders as Ian back in 1985.

Currently his character is dealing with the return of his son Bobby Beale.

Bobby spent three years in prison for the murder of his sister Lucy and Grievous Bodily Harm of his adoptive mum Jane.

Bobby recently returned to Albert Square, played by actor Clay Milner Russell.

Bobby began working at Ian’s restaurant and became friendly with Iqra.

She soon figured out that Bobby was practising Islam.

When Ian found out, he didn’t understand Bobby’s reasons.

However, Bobby has been struggling with mental health and saw a blurred vision of his sister Lucy in the living room where he had killed her.
