Ben Mitchell could be about to return to EastEnders.
Actor Harry Reid who plays Phil Mitchell’s only son has hinted the time has come for him to return to Walford.
“I miss the character of Ben,” the actor told Kent Online.
“I have my frustrations about him and I wanted him to do well in life.”
He added: “I still see Jamie Borthwick, who plays Jay, and we have fantasies about how Ben and Jay will take over Albert Square.”

It is almost a year to the day that Ben’s shock axing came.
He left Walford after it was revealed he had stolen the heist money from step-mother Sharon and fled without saying goodbye to his family.
Jamie Borthwick also previously called for the character’s return.
Speaking to Digital Spy, he said: “Watch this space. Ben left in a way that was kind of unexplained.
“I suppose he’s got to come back at some point, whether it’s now or whether it’s in two years or three years. But of course I’d love to have him back.”
Fans were given hope of Ben’s return earlier this year when new Enders boss Kate Oates revealed she has her sights set on three former characters to bring back.

She said: “I haven’t made the calls yet but there will definitely be two, possibly three old faces returning.
“You’ll probably see them in the first quarter of the new year.”
And with Harry’s play coming to an end this month and with only panto in the way, it seems the time is right for a Mitchell reunion.
