EastEnders fans fear Honey Mitchell will be abused by Adam Bateman

Could Adam be a wrong 'un?

Honey Mitchell may be loved up with her man Adam Bateman, but EastEnders viewers are worried that she’s walked into a sticky situation.

Viewers have seen Honey (played by Emma Barton) loved-up with Adam (Stephen Rahman-Hughes), unaware that he’s having an affair with Habiba (Rukku Nahar) behind her back.

Honey’s ex – Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) – knows the truth and is deliberating whether to tell the woman who he’s still in love with.

But fans fear that Adam will turn nasty when the affair is revealed, noticing controlling and aggressive behaviour from the dentist.

Fans took to Twitter to voice their concern.

One viewer said: “Finally catching up on #eastenders and I feel like Adam is going to start abusing honey? Is she going to find out about his affair and he lashes out? Don’t trust him.”

Another commented: “I think Adam is going to be a domestic abuser #eastenders”

“Adam’s controlling, and is clearly supposed to be a wrong’un,” said a third fan. “But Billy’s still a cheat and Honey doesn’t need that [bleep] from either of them.”

Adam knows Habiba and her sister Iqra through their grandparents Miriam and Arshad after being fostered by them.

Billy spotted the pair kissing earlier this month.

He told Lola (Danielle Harold), and she’s trying to get the truth out of Habiba.
