EastEnders fans think they spotted a huge blunder in last night’s trip to Walford as Hayley Slater made her dramatic escape from hospital with her newborn baby hidden in her coat.
The terrified new mum gave birth all alone last week after her cab dramatically broke down and, in Friday’s episode, was seen fleeing the hospital with her baby wrapped in her parka… seemingly in the dead of night.

But as Monday night’s episode started Hayley was seen at the hospital exit in DAYLIGHT; it seemed hours had passed since she’d first begun her escape mission!
So did it take all night to get out of Walford General, or a continuity error?
Fans took to Twitter to point out the apparent blunder…
Hayley went on to abandon her tot on a doorstep, but in coming episodes she will struggle with her conscience as she wonders if she does want to be a mum after all.
When her new daughter is rushed to hospital later this week she realises just how much her baby means to her.
