EastEnders finished with grim scenes last night, as Evie Steele was found bloodied and beaten to a pulp before the famous duffs duffs closed the show.
At the end of Thursday’s episode (28 March), the drug dealer was found by Tiffany Butcher, who was traumatised to find Evie fighting for her life.

The eventful episode saw Tiffany desperately trying to raise the money to pay off Evie’s debts – knowing that she could be killed if she fails to find the cash.
Once Whitney and Sonia discovered that Tiffany had been abused by Evie’s debtors while on the run, they promised to come up with the money in order to help – and persuaded Tiffany to stay with them for the night.
However, things went awry when Sonia found Tiffany stealing from Dot Cotton’s house and, after a heated confrontation, Tiffany slapped her auntie around the chops.

Realising she needed help with the wayward teenager, Sonia called on Jack Branning for help. But, by the time they returned, Tiffany had disappeared after receiving a message from Evie simply saying: “Help.”
Realising she’d be hiding out at Ted Murray’s flat, the worried group headed over there – only for them to discover Tiffany cradling Evie’s lifeless body.
Looking distraught, she pleaded: “You’ve got to save her, please. She’s dying!”
EastEnders viewers were ruthlessly unsympathetic, however, showing that they have very little love for the character who has groomed Tiffany into a life of crime.
One said: “Who actually cares that Evie is dying? #EastEnders. Not me.”
Another said: “About time Evie gets killed off, rubbish drug dealer #EastEnders.”
A third added: “#EastEnders for a second I felt sorry for Evie.. A second no more.”

“Evie had that coming to her,” said another, while one more added: “I can’t be the only one who thought ‘thank [bleep]’ when Tiff said Evie was dying #EastEnders.”
One suspicious fan even said: “A fiver says Evie’s injuries are self-inflicted. #EastEnders.”
While another added: “Why do I think that Evie has staged all this? #EastEnders.”

At least one Easties fan didn’t want Evie to die, however, tweeting: “I don’t care what anyone says, this Tiffany storyline is so juicy! I wanna know more about Evie too, I bet she’s got a wild backstory.”
Troubled teenager Tiffany returned to Walford with Evie this week – and shocked fans with her “awful” appearance.
And it soon became obvious that someone was after the pair as they worried about getting their hands on some cash.
Will Evie survive her beating? And can she get hold of the cash to pay off her debts? Or will the thugs come knocking again?
