Stacey Fowler’s return to EastEnders doesn’t look like a happy one for husband Martin.
Cleaner Stacey’s comeback has been revealed as actress Lacey Turner makes a one-off return from maternity leave to explain her character’s absence.
She hasn’t been seen in months since leaving in a haste to hide with her children.
Viewers know Stacey fled the Square after attacking and leaving Phil Mitchell for dead.
She had found him choking her husband Martin to death and hit him with a wrench before being forced to go on the run.

Martin later returned after his daughter Bex tried to take her own life in a harrowing storyline, but there has been no sign of Stacey since.
That is, until now. Spoiler pictures have revealed her furious reaction to Martin going to find her.
Stacey can be seen furiously rowing with him over something – perhaps his actions, as he is drawn into Ben Mitchell’s sociopathic business world.
This week, he made it clear to Martin that he would kill Stacey and the kids if they tried to return to Walford, leading to Martin secretly visiting them.
But spotting his injuries, Stacey questions him – leaving Martin to take drastic action to stop her from discovering the truth and returning.
Looking devastated by what he says, Stacey slaps him in a rage in the pictures.

Actress Lacey agreed to filming a brief comeback despite being on maternity leave just a month after welcoming daughter Dusty.
A source told the Daily Star: “Producers decided it was the right time for Stacey to come back.

“They didn’t know if Lacey would want to reprise her role and return so soon after having a baby but she jumped at the chance.
“Initially, it will be a short stint to reintroduce the character and then she’ll be back full-time a few months later.”
