What EastEnders’ Letitia Dean thinks of those ‘Sheanu’ love scenes

EastEnders’ star Letitia Dean is reportedly “loving life” thanks to all the steamy scenes she is filming at work at the moment.

Actress Lorraine Stanley, who is better known to soap fans as mouthy Karen Taylor, recently told The Sun Online that her co-star Letitia is enjoying filming the affair between her character Sharon Mitchell and her new tomboy Keanu Taylor.

The actress revealed: “Keanu’s naked a lot. Nice bit of eye candy for Tish, she ain’t complaining, is she? She’s loving life at the minute.

“When she read the scripts she was like, ‘Oh my God, this is the best thing ever’.

“She’s so funny as well and they have had a great partnership together. He’s very mature for his age.”

Lorraine also revealed that while her character, Karen, doesn’t like seeing her son romping with an older woman, she is loving the storyline as it unfolds…

“I love it. Karen doesn’t, but I like watching it. There’s just something about it, I’m buying it and I’m watching it as a viewer.

“I watch it like I’ve always watched EastEnders.”

While viewers have seen Sharon and Keanu sneaking around behind everyone’s backs for months now, the news that Sharon’s having an affair behind husband Phil Mitchell’s has recently been discovered in Albert Square.

Fans saw Karen find out what her son has been up to, leading to a huge fight between the trio.

Karen threatened to tell Phil what has been going on while he’s abroad, but will she really go through with her threat?

Meanwhile, Lorraine also teased a little about what we can expect from the Taylors over Christmas…

“Big Christmas. Karen’s in the choir and so a lot of comical scenes. It’s very serious and very beautiful, but it’s very funny as well.”

EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
