EastEnders’ Ben Mitchell is in a coma fighting for his life after being shot by Hunter Owen.
Dad Phil and stepmum Sharon look terrified in first look pictures released by the soap to show the aftermath of the horrific shooting.
Ben was rushed to hospital shortly after Hunter was shot dead by police while he was trying to kill as many members of the Mitchell family as possible.
He shot the father of Louise and Sharon’s babies Keanu Taylor as he tried to rescue his girlfriend from him.
He then turned the gun on Louise but before he could fire the police ended his life.

Funeral director Callum’s life was left in tatters when Whitney discovered he was gay and had cheated with Ben.
She left him high and dry at the altar and was about to out him at the reception before Hunter’s siege got in the way.
And after seeing his desperate attempts to keep Ben alive, Whitney seemed resigned to letting Callum come out in his own way – which he will, next week.
He is going to confide in his brother Stuart about his feelings for Ben amid his worries Ben won’t survive.
But as he is confiding in Stuart, Whitney walks in and causes Callum to rush out embarrassed.
