Kat Moon finds herself in big trouble in next week’s EastEnders when Phil Mitchell starts to piece together what happened on the day he was attacked… but how far will he go for revenge?
After being bashed over the head with a wrench by Stacey, Phil was left fighting for his life and then recuperating in hospital the last few weeks.
But next week sees the Walford legend back home and determined to get some answers about his attack.
Ben throws a surprise party for his dad as a welcome home, but Phil is less than impressed with his son’s efforts and the whole thing is a flop.
Phil’s relieved when everyone finally leaves and, as soon as the door is closed, he turns on Ben, demanding to know what he and Jay were fighting about in the hospital.
Fans know that Ben was moments away from killing Phil, but Jay thankfully stopped him just in time… but how much does Phil actually remember?
Ben panics that his dad is on to him and races off to find Jay so they can get their story straight… but Phil is one step ahead of him and already quizzing Jay about what happened. But will Jay tell Phil the truth, or will be cover for Ben?
Shirley later visits Phil at the Arches, and she is shocked when he tells her his memory from the day of the attack is starting to come back to him. But before he tells her what he has remembered, he’s off on another mission.
Later Kat is terrified when she gets home and finds a menacing Phil sitting in her kitchen waiting for her. What has he remembered?
Kat panics that Phil is out for revenge and it’s only a matter of time before he remembers exactly what happened in the Arches that day… but while Kat is fearing for her own safety, Phil is also determined to find Keanu and Louise.
After scaring the living daylights out of Keegan as he demands to know if he has heard from his brother, Phil then continues to search for answers about what happened in the lead up to his attack.

But while he’s playing detective, Callum is helping Ben find Louise, and things are soon looking up when they get a lead on her whereabouts.
As Phil gets closer to the truth, it is only a matter of time before he works out both Ben and Kat are hiding a secret so huge that they’ll be in danger if it is ever discovered.
Kat has often found herself on the dark side of Phil’s wrath, but will she pay the ultimate price for her lies this time?
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
