EastEnders SPOILER: Phil attacked in showdown with Danny

Things aren't looking good for Mr Mitchell

Phil Mitchell’s world comes crashing down around him next week when he is brutally attacked during a dangerous showdown with Danny Hardcastle.

Ever since returning from Spain, Phil has been fighting to get his businesses back on track after losing all his cash abroad.

But it’s not just his own pockets he needs to line, he also owes some money to some very dangerous people after his dodgy dealings in Spain, and he has been money laundering to try and pay them off.

Phil has even got Keanu Taylor on board to help him with his dodgy scheme, but what he doesn’t know is his son Ben is double crossing him and trying to go into business with Danny behind his dad’s back.

But Ben makes everything a million times worse when he threatens Danny’s family, and the dangerous businessman retaliates by kidnapping Louise.

Keanu is horrified when he sees his pretend girlfriend snatched off the streets and races to get Phil so they can track her down.

But when Ben, Phil and Keanu arrive at some docks, it soon becomes clear that Louise is trapped inside a metal container and it’s a race against time to try and save her.

Keanu manages to find Louise, but as he is untying her, he is knocked out and thrown into the container with her.

Phil also finds himself knocked out cold as he calls Danny and leaves him a threatening message.

But who knocked Phil out? Could Danny have heard Phil leaving the message and left him for dead to teach him a lesson?

Or is Midge still hanging around?

Or could it have been someone else entirely who has got it in for Mr Mitchel?

EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
