Phil Mitchell is going to be in serious danger over Christmas as he becomes embroiled in a battle with Ray Kelly.
The Walford hardman usually has no problem dealing with his enemies but Ray is in a different league to Phil.
Undercover policeman Ray is the brother of terrifying gangster and criminal mastermind Ciara Maguire.
And so when Ray turns up on Phil’s doorstep over Christmas with a shocking demand, Phil’s taken aback.
Not knocking what to do, Phil sends Ray on his way in typical Mitchell fashion and makes it clear he has no plans to help Ray in his scheme.

However, Ray makes a mysterious phone call and returns to Phil with an unmistakable threat.
Trying to force Phil to back down, Ray gives him an ultimatum and sets the pair on a violent course that will see them clash.
Viewers know Ray’s partner Mel Owen is out for revenge after discovering his multiple wives and his cheating going back years through their first marriage.
Filming pictures have revealed how Mel plans to publicly tie the knot with Ray before exposing him as a cheat and bigamist.
She will have him arrested after the nuptials, ruining his beloved career as an undercover officer in the police, and setting him against his sister Ciara.
But it will become clear in the coming weeks how Mel is struggling to go through with her plans.

And when her emotions do get the better of her, she unleashes in a private rant about Ray thinking she is alone.
Unfortunately her scheming son Hunter overhears her and she is forced to come up with a series of lies to throw him off the scent and keep her plan in motion.
As the wedding day arrives, Mel is in for a shock when things begin to spiral out of control into an explosive series of events that no-one could see coming.
But will Phil join up with Mel to take down Ray for good?
