Ruby Allen and Jay Brown’s new romance hits the rocks next week when they have a huge fight after spending their first night together.
It’s the romance that EastEnders fans have been waiting for, and finally Ruby and Jay have got together. But just as it looks like things are going well, Ruby hits out at an unsuspecting Jay.
The pair spend the night together for the first time next week, and while it was a night they’ll both remember, Ruby is upset when she wakes up the next morning to find Jay gone.

Being in a delicate state thanks to the turmoil she has been through over the last few months, Ruby doesn’t react well to the fact Jay has scarpered, and tells Stacey that she is upset that she hasn’t heard from the undertaker since they slept together.
Meanwhile, Jay is oblivious to what Ruby is going through and is gushing to Keanu about how amazing Ruby is – little does he know she is on the warpath!
Despite the fact Stacey tries to convince her friend that Jay isn’t that sort of bloke, her words fall on deaf ears and Ruby goes to track Jay down at work to confront him.
Jay tries to explain to Ruby that she has got the wrong end of the stick, but she doesn’t listen, instead lashing out, shouting about what she thinks of men like him.
But when Ruby gets home, she is mortified to find a note on the fridge from Jay that he’d left that morning, explaining why he had to dash off before she woke up.
Realising she has got some serious making up to do, Ruby heads to The Vic to find Jay and make amends, and luckily for her, he is happy to give their romance another go.

The pair head off on a double date with Stacey and Martin later in the week, and even Martin is surprised at what a great couple the pair make.
Ruby is flattered when Jay helps her land a new client for work, and their evening seems to be going amazingly.
But are the pair on the right track after their fight? Or is this rocky start a sign of things to come?
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
