EastEnders SPOILER: Sean Slater ATTACKS Jack Branning as he returns to Walford

Old rivalries die hard in Walford, it seems

Sean Slater’s EastEnders return is going to be a explosive affair.

Actor Rob Kazinsky promised it and now a sneak peek at filming has revealed Sean isn’t going to wait long before launching into his first fight.

Reports have claimed Sean will clash with Jack Branning in a vicious fight.

The pair will throw punches at each other soon after Sean makes his return to Albert Square.

They share history with them being involved in many fights over the years and through their relationships with the late Roxy Mitchell.

Sean last appeared after trying to kill Roxy and her baby Amy by drowning them in an icy lake.

Weeks before he had been left devastated when he discovered Amy wasn’t his daughter but Jack’s, and decided to take drastic action to keep his family together for ever.

Roxy allowed him time to escape after the murder attempt and he fled, and wasn’t heard from until 2015 when he was revealed to have contacted his sister Stacey.

Now his return has been confirmed as being connected to his mother Jean Slater and her upcoming cancer fight.

EastEnders boss Kate Oates said recently: “I talked before about looking at Jean’s mental health through the lens of her physical health.

“Obviously we know that Stacey has been in touch with Sean… but Jean doesn’t know that!

“Jean hasn’t seen him for 10 years, so there’s a lot of stuff to play in there as well, when Jean finds out. So that’s quite a big old deal.”

She also revealed that Sean may not be aware Roxy has died which could explain the vicious fight between he and Jack.

And she told how Rob himself has been involved in his comeback storyline, adding to Digital Spy: “We spoke quite a lot before I convinced him to come back and he was giving me ideas and I was able to bring them back to the team.”
