Sean Slater makes his long-awaited return to EastEnders next week, and we couldn’t be more excited!
EastEnders fans will know that it was announced earlier this year that actor Rob Kazinsky would be reprising his role as Sean Slater for a short stint this spring, and after 10 years away from Albert Square next week will see Stacey Slater’s brother make his comeback.
Only recently did we see Jean Slater write a wish list while starting her first round of chemotherapy as she continues her battle against cancer.
On that list was just one thing… Jean wants to see her estranged son Sean.

So Stacey is on a mission to bring him back to Walford to be there by Jean’s side as she goes through the battle of a lifetime.
But getting hold of the elusive Sean Slater proves tricker than the Slaters first thought next week.
When Shirley sees that Jean is struggling while looking after the kids, she realises the pressure of fighting her cancer is taking its toll on her friend.
Despite Jean’s reassurances that she is fine, she finally opens up to Shirley and confesses that having cancer has made her want to find her son more than ever, leaving Shirley torn.
When Jean announces she wants to move back in with that Slaters so that Stacey can help her find Sean, Shirley is sad to see her friend leave.
Despite trying to talk her out of moving, Shirley understands this is something Jean has to do.
Stacey is delighted to have her mum home so that she can look after her, but when Jean reveals the real reason she is back under the Slater roof, Stacey is fed up and tells her mum that she has already tried to get through to her brother but that the number didn’t work.
But Stacey is secretly lying… she did get through to Sean, and she finally confesses to her mum that she’s spoken to her brother and lied to protect her.
Jean is furious that Stacey would lie when she knows how much she wants to find Sean, and out on the Square she borrows Habiba’s phone to leave Sean a message, asking him to come home.
But of course there’s no reply from Sean, and as Jean heads to the hospital once again, she takes her frustration over not hearing from her son out on Stacey.
As Jean goes on and on about Sean, Stacey finally snaps and tells her mum that she’s spoken to Sean and he knows all about her cancer… and he’s still not coming home.
But little do they know, Sean is already back!

As tensions reach breaking point between Stacey and Jean, the pair go their separate ways with Jean going in for her hospital appointment and Stacey heading off to do the school run.
But all the while, Sean is home and planning his next move.
A trailer hinting at Sean’s return shows that he comes back to see his daughter Amy after all this time, but what else does he have up his sleeve?
How will Jean feel when she comes face-to-face with her boy after all these years?
And how will Sean react to being back in Albert Square for the first time in 10 years?
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
