It seems Stuart Highway has been hiding a huge secret since he arrived in Walford… and Rainie Branning is set to find out what it is next week.
After a rocky week without Max now he has fled to France with Jack thanks to Mel Owen, Rainie feels she needs some support and heads to a Narcotics Anonymous meeting.
But when she gets there, she’s shocked to spot none other than Stuart Highway in the group.

Keeping out of his view, Rainie is stunned when she hears him telling the group about Dot.
As Stuart confesses his darkest secrets, he has no idea that someone from the Square is listening in… but what has happened in his past to bring him to a meeting like this?
The following day Rainie can’t help but taunt Stuart about his admissions at the meeting but everyone knows that Stuart isn’t a man to be messed with… why is she playing with fire?
Stuart is furious and demands to know how she found out about his dark past, but when Rainie reveals she was at the Narcotics Anonymous meeting, he realises that she already knows everything.
Eventually he opens up about his life before he came to Albert Square… leaving Rainie shocked.
Stuart begs Rainie not to tell Dot about his murky past, but what has happened to him that he is so desperate to keep quiet?

Paranoid that Rainie is going to spill his secrets to Dot and Halfway, Stuart keeps a close eye on her.
But after a run in with Halfway, Stuart announces that he has had enough on living on the Square, and packs his bags to leave.
But will he really go? And what is this secret that Stuart has been keeping that is so huge that it is forcing him out of Walford?
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
