A grisly murder scene is thought to have been filmed for EastEnders as rumours persist a major character from the BBC One soap will be bumped off over the upcoming Christmas and New Year episodes.
Cast members and production crew were spied recording top secret scenes under the cover of nightfall at an undisclosed site in woodland.
Blurry photos show a blue sheet – thought to be a body bag – featuring prominently in the location shoot.
According to newspaper reports, the storyline will see dog walkers find the sheet covering a corpse before calling the police.

It is believed the area was taped off and a tent was put up where the body was discovered as if an investigation was underway for filming the next day.
It is also thought police dogs were part of the production, although it is not clear who will be found perished in the woods.
Producers are staying tight-lipped about the character who meets their end in the grim plot.
But it is believed the body could belong to a younger resident of Albert Square.

Alfie Moon has been tipped to be “left for dead” during Walford’s festive programmes after he is revealed to be the father of Hayley Slater’s baby.
“Don’t you touch me,” Kat screams at him in a preview trailer as she smashes up the Slaters’ living room with a metal bar.
Furiously, she vows: “I will do time for you.”
An unnamed soap insider teased to The Sun: “It will all kick off big-time. Kat will confront him about the baby before all hell breaks loose. The scenes will leave him for dead.
Alfie star Shane Richie added: “Only on Christmas Day could this happen.”
The actor, 54, continued: “Without giving too much away, this is a tough one to come back from after you see what happens.
“Someone’s got blood on their hands, is all I’m saying.”
