It looks like Sharon Mitchell could have the upperhand as she discovers a secret about Mel that could change everything in next week’s EastEnders.
Sharon returns home alone from her trip to Portugal and she pretends to be surprised when Louise reveals her and Keanu are moving to Portugal.
Once they’re alone, Keanu pleads with Sharon to stop Louise but she warns him to play along with Mel.
Meanwhile, Mel invites Ruby to the E20 and makes a surprising offer – first refusal to buy the club.
Ruby senses her doubts that Sharon won’t sell, but Mel reassures her that Sharon definitely will.
Later, Mel speaks to Sharon and threatens her to do as she says.

The next day Mel and Ruby discuss the sale of the club.
Ruby visits Sharon but is confused when she disputes the amount offered and soon enough the pair exchanging some harsh words.
Later Sharon admits to Ben that Mel’s behind her decision to sell leading Ben to share a secret that changes everything.
Ben’s insider information means Sharon now has something on Mel, completely changing the dynamics of their argument.
But what has he told her?
Armed with new information, Sharon goes head to head with Mel.

With Sharon onto her, Mel’s plan begins to unravel and she goes to desperate lengths.
Mel begins lying to those around her to ensure she gets what she wants.
EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
