Actor John Partridge is to star in the latest tour of Cabaret.
The former EastEnders star will portray the role of Emcee in the hit musical – which features catchy tunes such as Money Makes the World Go Round and Two Ladies – as the show embarks on a new tour from August 28th.

John will first head to Bromley to take on the Master of Ceremonies role, and the musical tour will also travel to Dublin, Belfast, Edinburgh, Chester and Aberdeen among other areas.
The show is choreographed by Javier de Frutos, with Rufus Norris staging the musical.
John is known for portraying Christian Clarke on the BBC One soap from 2008 to 2012, and 2014 to 2016, and he can also cook up a storm after scooping the Celebrity MasterChef crown last year.

Following his triumph, the 47-year-old star admitted his late mother Bridget, who passed away on 13 April 2017 after living with Alzheimer’s disease for seven years, was “an angel” on his shoulder during the show’s final.
He said: “It was an amazing experience from beginning to end.
“My mum passed away on April 13th 2017 and I won MasterChef on April 13th 2018 … so when I went in for that final cook, I definitely had an angel on my shoulder.

“You know I took her wooden spoon with me, I know she was there, she was stirring that custard.”
John quit his job on EastEnders to look after Bridget, and he went on Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 to get the money to pay for her to have professional care when her condition worsened.
He finished the show in sixth place, with fellow EastEnders actress Danniella Westbrook coming fifth.
