EastEnders viewers confused over London to Scotland travel time

They could have done it - just

| Updated:

Viewers of EastEnders have been left confused as Keegan and Tiffany prepared to travel from London to Scotland in a very short space of time.

In last night’s episode of the BBC soap (November 8 2019), newly engaged Tiffany received an email from the registry office to say they had had a cancellation for that day at 3pm.

Excited they could get married straight away, Tiffany and Keegan quickly prepared for their wedding day.

Keegan asked his brother Keanu to drive them up to Scotland so they could make the time slot.

How are they meant to get to Scotland by 3pm?

After waiting for Bernadette to make her way back from school, Keegan, Tiffany, Keanu and Bernadette all piled into Keanu’s car.

After a false start with the engine not firing up, Keanu used a car from the Arches and they set off on their way.

However as they made their way up to Scotland, viewers were questioning how they would get from London to Scotland before 3pm.

However, they could have done it – just about.

If Keegan, Tiffany, Keanu and Bernadette travelled from London’s E20 to Gretna Green, which is on the border of Scotland, according to Google Maps, the journey would take 6 hours and 13 minutes by car.

So if they set off between 8am and 9am, they could make it there for 3pm – just, but that’s assuming there’s no traffic jams or hold ups – or loo breaks – along the way!

Well, they did REALLY want to get hitched!

EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
