EastEnders viewers think Sean Slater’s accent has changed since he’s been off our screens.
Last week EastEnders viewers saw Sean return to the soap after 10 years away for a brief stint.
In Monday night’s episode (April 29) Sean came back onto our screens properly as he took his late wife, Roxy Mitchell’s, child Amy from school and took her for a milkshake, causing his sister Stacey and Amy’s dad Jack to worry.

Sean eventually returned Amy to her dad and Jack pinned him against a wall. However, it soon became clear that Sean had no idea Roxy had died.
Jack took Sean to Roxy and Ronnie’s grave and explained how they both died on New Year’s day 2017, which just so happened to be his and Ronnie’s wedding day.
When Jack explained Roxy had taken drugs and her heart gave out whilst in the hotel pool causing Ronnie to jump in after her sister, he began bad-mouthing Sean’s ex. Sean soon lost his temper and the pair got into a fight.
However, viewers were more focused on how Sean’s accent has changed.

Although we don’t know where Jack has been for the last 10 years, he could easily have picked up a new accent.
Last night (April 30) Sean went to see his mother Jean who was desperate to see her son.
After a rather painful reunion with Ruby, Sean took his mother to her chemotherapy session but Sean became frustrated with Jean dodging his questions.
After calming down he eventually agreed to go away with his mother for a while.

When Sean lived on Albert Square, he found out that Amy wasn’t his daughter through a Christmas cracker.
His wife Roxy had a one night stand with Ronnie’s boyfriend Jack, and Sean was left devastated.
After finding out the news he tried to kill himself and Roxy by driving them into the lake, but she coaxed him out onto the lake so Ronnie and Jack could get Amy out of the car.
Roxy and Sean fell through the ice and Ronnie dived in to save her sister.
When Sean emerged from the water Roxy told him to go.
