EastEnders viewers LOVED Patrick’s Alan Sugar impression

He was torn between Team Mitch and Team Denise

Fans couldn’t stop laughing over Friday evening’s episode when Patrick Trueman did his best Lord Alan Sugar impression.

The episode saw Patrick tasked with judging the hair skills of Mitch and Denise, as he decided which business to invest in. And much like The Apprentice, he gathered everyone in the boardroom – er, we mean the pub – to reveal his decision.

Going through the day’s takings at the hairdresser, he pointed out how Mitch had more customers, but that Denise earned more money.

Referencing Lord Alan’s infamous catchphrase, Denise joked: “If he says to me, you’re fired, I will…” before Patrick interrupted her.

She muttered: “Oh, you are loving this, aren’t you?”

Looking smug, Patrick took his time, as a group of people watched on in the bar, before finally revealing: “I am going to invest… in all of you.”

Denise didn’t look happy with the shock twist, as she asked: “You are joking?” But he wasn’t, as he explained to the pair: “You’re going to create the best unisex salon East London has ever seen.”

Many said they saw his decision coming, with one writing: “I knew Patrick was going to say both #Eastenders.” Another added: “I think Patrick enjoyed playing Alan Sugar too much, I knew he would invest in both #EastEnders.”

Another wrote: “Patrick’s been watching too much of The Apprentice #Eastenders.” As one last comment read: “If Lord Sugar is ever ill and can’t do an Apprentice, I say bring in Patrick he can stand in #eastenders.”
