Emmerdale SPOILER: Ross puts Moses’ life in danger

The troubled mechanic takes drugs while in charge of his son

| Updated:

Ross Barton continues his mission to self-destruct and it sadly looks like there might be another victim at risk – his own son Moses.

Next week Ross is struggling to cope with caring for his young lad while dealing with a coke hangover from the night before.

He decides to give himself a bit of a pick-me-up and whips out a little bag of drugs.

It does the trick and suddenly Ross is full of beans and happily playing football with Moses (who, incidentally is the cutest kid in soap right now.)

But it’s not long before things take a turn for the worse and Ross starts feeling pains in his chest.

He falls to the ground clutching his chest in agony while little Moses heads of towards the bridge…

Will they both be ok?

Ross’ collapse comes after both Tracy and Ryan tell him he needs to calm down on the drugs.

He promises them he will, but is soon throwing another drug fuelled party.

It’s the day after this when he has Moses and just can’t deal with the comedown and the demands of parenthood.

Ross has been struggling with life since becoming the victim of a horror acid attack earlier this year.

Since the attack – which has left his disfigured – he has hit rock bottom several times.

The latest blow comes when he convinces himself that Rebecca, with whom he’d recently rekindled a romance, is dead.

After finding happiness with Rebecca, he turned back to drugs to help him get through the days

Following last night’s shock revelation that Rebecca is actually still alive and being held captive by a weird nurse, will Ross be around long enough to know that she isn’t dead?

And what will happen to Moses?
