Emmerdale actor Mark Jordon has been charged with GBH following an incident in Oldham earlier this year where he allegedly bit an OAP.
Jordon – who plays Daz Spencer in the ITV soap – was arrested in July this year after a fight with the 67-year-old victim.

At the time The Sun reported that Jordon bit the man and then chased him and his partner into a car following an altercation at a pub in Oldham.
The victim – Andy Potts – told the publication in July: “He was like a wild animal.
“He bit me three times and went for my eye.”
It was thought that an off-duty policeman stepped in before things got out of hand.
A source told The Sun: “Something seems to have been said in the pub.
“He had wounds on his thumb, hand and near his eye. He has not been in a good way and says a chunk was bitten out of his hand. He was taken to hospital.”
Jordon was arrested at the scene but released later as inquiries continued.
If found guilty, Jordon could be looking at dismissal from Emmerdale and even a prison sentence.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester police told The Sun: “Jordon is charged with GBH and common assault.”
It’s thought the row started when the pensioner goaded Mark about his 17-year-old daughter kissing someone.
Jordon has been involved in some big drama in Emmerdale this year including the storyline around Amelia Spencer being revealed as his daughter and not his niece.

Daz was also one of the prime suspects when the schoolgirl went missing from her bedroom.
He’s currently involved in a storyline with girlfriend Bernice Blackstock who has secretly fallen for local GP Liam Cavanagh behind Daz’s back.
Jordon is dating Emmerdale co-star Laura Norton who plays Kerry Wyatt in the soap.
