Emmerdale actress Olivia Bromley has hinted DI Malone will kidnap Dawn’s son Lucas.
Next week, DI Malone will try and tempt former addict Dawn to take her own life by overdosing on heroin. The dodgy detective has been messing with Dawn’s family for months and it looks like he’s going to do what he can to get her out of the way.
Speaking about how her alter ego feels during these scenes, Olivia told Entertainment Daily: “Well I think from her point of view it’s a negotiation for her life and safety but I don’t think in her wildest dreams does she think that he would actually go as far as he does.

“I think, you know, she’s used to being around bad characters in the past, being intimidated and she’s use to kind of like fighting her corner a bit.”
She then revealed that Malone has Lucas as a threat and he could potentially harm the little boy.
But also in this situation, she’s trapped because he has Lucas as a threat and she’s really really worried that he could use that against her and harm her son and it’s the only thing she truly truly cares about.
“So really this is all about her negotiating her way out of a really intimidating situation in whatever ways possible. Be it intimidating him back or pleading with him or agreeing with him but yeah she never expects him to go that far.”
