Cain tries to convince her not to and then tells her that when Sarah’s better from her heart transplant, he’s going to send her and the kids on the run.
Debbie is confused at her dad’s suggestion, but Moira can see there’s more going on than meets the eye.
As he tries to cover his guilt over Joe, Moira tells him that if something is going on that he can’t tell Debbie, then he needs to leave – not her.
She presses him more over Joe and Cain makes the horrifying admission that he killed him, leaving Moira stunned.
He tells her what happened and Moira tries to reassure him that it was an accident, but her words have no effect leaving her worried about how broken Cain is over it all.
She then seeks out Graham – who was there when Cain ‘killed’ Joe -and asks him if they can trust him not to ever tell Debbie.
Moira’s pained to learn that Joe was coming back for Debbie.
She then hears Joe’s heartbreaking voicemail where he says how much he loves Debbie.
Moira is devastated when she realises how much this would hurt Cain if he ever heard it.
She later tells Cain about seeing Graham, but doesn’t mention that she heard the voicemail. Can she trust Graham to keep it from Cain?
We’re not so convinced seeing as how it was actually Graham himself who killed Joe – and he’s letting Cain think it was him.

Fans know that Joe was still alive when Graham bundled him into his boot, meaning that Graham would have had to finish him off before getting rid of the body.
Meanwhile Emmerdale fans are convinced that Joe isn’t dead and will be popping back on screen at some point in the future.
