And it’s given Emmerdale fans plenty of opportunities to catch up with all the drama from their fave soap, including Maya and Jacob’s controversial grooming plot, Harriet’s stalking storyline and Aaron and Robert’s surrogacy saga.
Next week, fans are promised a huge episode which promises to “change everything”.
The ‘Big Night Out’ scenes will see the villagers embark on an evening in Hotten, which is supposed to be fun, but ends in devastation.
Determined to let their hair down for a host of different reasons, Leyla, Priya, David, Tracy, Maya, Kerry, Rhona, Victoria, Ellis, Aaron, Robert and Bernice head to a club for a night on the tiles.
As the villagers party away, they are sent into a haywire of confusion when the fire alarm sounds and the bouncers evacuate everyone into the street.
Once outside, confusion reigns amongst the villagers and the game is finally up for Maya as she and Jacob are caught by one of the girls. Eek!
Meanwhile, Rhona meets a handsome stranger behind Pete’s back, Tracy and David kiss, Ellis Chapman is in seriously danger from gangster Max, and Victoria Barton is raped.
No wonder the ITV soap needs more episodes!
