Eden Taylor-Draper has teased that her character’s imminent return to Emmerdale is set to kick off an explosive chain of events that will massively impact the Dingle clan.
Opening up about upcoming scenes, Eden – who plays schizophrenic Belle – has hinted that her reaction to what Cain has done will end in heartbreak over Christmas and New Year.

As the tragic truth about Cain’s involvement in Joe Tate’s death tumbles out, the Dingle family will be left “fractured”.
Belle has been away from the village ever since the dramatic events that led to her boyfriend Lachlan being revealed as a serial killer.
During her absence, however, things in Emmerdale have hardly calmed down as her half-brother Cain has been involved in the murder of Joe Tate.

On her return, Belle notices a change in Cain and eventually discovers what he (believes he) has done.
At present, only two villagers know Cain supposedly killed Joe. The Dingle bad boy confessed his crime to wife Moira earlier this week and Graham Foster was the one who was actually there (and finished the job himself).
In an interview with The Mirror, Eden explains: “When she comes back she catches up with everyone. She will [find out what Cain has done], it’s shocking news.”
She also hinted that unpredictable Belle could have a different reaction to Moira, saying: “I think the way everyone deals with it different.”
Eden, 20, also revealed that her big upcoming storylines would centre around Christmas.
She said: “Well we’re filming Christmas at the minute and it’s exciting – that’s it! That is all I can say or I’ll get in trouble. The Dingles are part of the Christmas storyline.”
The actress also admitted that her character will be “steering clear” of any boyfriends for the time being!
Last month, new Emmerdale boss Jane Hudson teased that viewers could expect a unique wedding during the festive period and “huge rifts” in the Dingle clan that will “blow apart two of our most loved characters”.
She shared: “We’ve got a wedding at Christmas. I’m not going to tell you who, but let’s just say it will bring a different flavour to the village than you’ve had before.
“Next year, around February time, we will be sending Paddy and Marlon off on a little adventure. One of them will make quite a big discovery.”
She continued: “We also have a proposal next year between two of our characters, which will be very romantic.
“And we have got huge rifts coming up in the Dingle clan that will blow apart two of our most loved characters – and who knows if they will ever get back to where they used to be.”
Looks like we’ll be glued to our TV’s scoffing chocolates again then!
