Emmerdale fans accuse soap of turning all kids ‘horrible’

Arthur has been bullying Archie

Fans of Emmerdale have accused the soap of turning all kids ‘horrible’ as they get older.

Over the last few weeks, viewers have seen Arthur Thomas become increasingly jealous of Archie Sharma.

After Archie’s mum Rachel died, he came to live in the village with his dad, Jai, who is going out with Arthur’s mum, Laurel.

Although Arthur and Archie seemed to get on well at first, Arthur soon turned on the little boy.

In last night’s episode (November 12 2019) after Archie ran off from Ashley’s memorial picnic, Arthur was furious and accused Archie of ruining his dad’s birthday.

When Laurel asked Arthur to take Archie to play on the pirate ship, he took the little boy back to his house instead.

After Arthur said some cruel words to Archie, he called Arthur mean and in return, Arthur punched Archie and he fell unconscious.

All kids in these soaps are horrible brats.

However, viewers have pointed out that this isn’t the first time that a soap child had suddenly turned.

Arthur isn’t the first child in Emmerdale who seems to have turned nasty.

A couple of years ago, his sister Gabby also began acting out after her dad Ashley was diagnosed with Dementia.

Her antics included skipping school to have sex, underage drinking, bullying Liv Flaherty and encouraging her to spike Daz Spencer’s drink with Ketamine.

Lachlan White became a serial killer and Sarah Sugden has also recently been acting out by skipping school and in spoilers for next week’s episodes she takes drugs.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
