Emmerdale fans were left disappointed as Andrea Tate changed her mind over reporting Jamie to the police for Moira’s hit and run.
A couple of weeks ago, the vet accidentally ran over Moira. But instead of helping her, he left her on the side of the road.
He later told his wife Andrea about what happened. However she began blackmailing him, saying if he left her for his lover Belle, she would go to the police.
Last week, it all became too much when Andrea had a go at him for speaking to Belle. In a fit of rage he threatened to beat his wife, frightening both himself and Andrea.
This week, keeping the secret of Moira’s hit and run was becoming too much for Jamie and he confessed to Belle that he was responsible.
But Belle gave him an ultimatum; if he or Andrea didn’t turn him in, she would.

In last night’s episode (Wednesday, August 12) Andrea finally started to realise that what she’s doing isn’t right and told Jamie that they are destroying each other.
She told her husband she’s going away with their daughter Millie for a while, but agreed she won’t be taking her away from him.
As she left, viewers were disappointed that she changed her mind so easily and complained on Twitter.

Later, Nate grills Belle on what she was discussing with Jamie before he arrived at the HOP office. Although she tries to keep quiet, she is compelled to reveal that she knows who knocked Moira down.
