Emmerdale fans are furious at Cain Dingle for not telling his grieving daughter Debbie how Joe Tate is still alive.
The mechanic found out this week how he didn’t actually kill Joe as he thought.
Instead his death was faked by Graham Foster and Joe went to hide out abroad in Monte Carlo living off his family’s money.
And even though Cain found out days ago about Joe being alive and well, he hasn’t bothered to tell his grief-stricken daughter.
She blames him for Joe’s death and it has caused a bitter and furious divide in the family but instead of solving this by telling her her fiancé isn’t dead, he’s been avoiding her.

He even went as far as to attack Graham for not telling either of them the truth and scheme against Kim Tate who is holding the evidence Joe’s alive over his head.
But fans are mystified and furious at why Cain hasn’t just told his daughter how Joe is alive and put her out of her misery.
One said: “Why didn’t Cain tell Debbie immediately Joe’s alive? She deserves to know!”
A second said: “What is wrong with Cain, first not telling the police and then Debbie – but he tells Moira?”
Fans are still convinced Debbie will find out just as it is time for actress Charley Webb to go on maternity leave.
They think she will leave the village to track down Joe and reunite with him for the time Charley takes off to be with her new baby.
