Fans of Emmerdale have predicted that Chas and Paddy will name their baby after Lisa Dingle.
Last night (Thursday May 23), viewers saw heartbreaking scenes as show favourite Lisa passed away just after marrying Zak.
Lisa was diagnosed with an incurable heart condition and returned to the village last week after spending time in Scotland.
Viewers found out about her condition months ago, after she asked Charity Dingle to visit her to help with funeral arrangements. However, the rest of the family only learned the truth last week including her daughter Belle and niece Chas.
After Lisa passed away, viewers predicted once Chas and Paddy’s child is born that they will name their baby after Lisa.
I wonder if Chas and Paddy will have a baby girl and then name her Lisa #Emmerdale

I must admit to being surprised by the "suddenness" of her going. I was quite convinced she'd go on the day that 'Chas' gives birth… to a healthy baby girl, which of course they'll call 'Lisa'…

At the wedding reception, Lisa went back home to get changed and wrap her present for Zak.
But when Zak returned he thought his new wife had dozed off.
He had a chat with his dog Monty about how much Lisa meant to the family and as he tried to talk to Lisa, he realised she was no longer alive.
Poor Zak sobbed as he said “No, this is too soon”.
Chas and Paddy were hit with heartbreaking news last year when their daughter Gracie was diagnosed with bilateral renal agenesis and would only survive for a short time after birth.
However, Chas recently discovered she is pregnant again.
Although she is nervous about her 20-week scan, it looks like they will have good news next week as they discover their baby is healthy.
Chas and Paddy decide to find out the sex of the baby but want to keep it between them. But they do tell Gracie when they visit her grave and ask her to keep their special secret for them – is that secret that she’s going to have a sister?
Emmerdale airs Monday to Friday at 7pm with an extra episode on Thursday at 8pm.
