Emmerdale fans have recognised Ellis’s dad, Al Chapman, who made his first appearance last night.
In Tuesday’s episodes of Emmerdale (August 13 2019) Ellis went to meet a potential investor for his and Billy’s personal training business.
However, Ellis got a huge shock when his dad Al, played by Michael Wildman, turned up.

Ellis returned home to April’s party but Al had followed him and wanted to talk to his son properly.
It was clear that Ellis didn’t think much of his dad and that Al hadn’t been in contact with him in a year.
However, viewers were too busy trying to figure out where they had seen Al before.
I've seen Al in something else, says he's been in Casualty and Family Affairs, I watch/ed both but I can't think which one #Emmerdale
