Emmerdale fans think that Samson isn’t the father of Amelia‘s baby and there could be another twist coming up.
In last week’s episodes Amelia gave birth to her and Samson’s daughter, Esther.
However some fans think there’s another twist coming and Samson isn’t the dad.
Emmerdale: Amelia and Samson
Earlier this year Amelia was shocked to find out she was pregnant.
Charity Dingle found out about the pregnancy when she found Amelia at the clinic.
After realising Amelia had been visiting her son Noah in prison Charity thought he was the father.
However when Noah was released, he revealed he was not the dad.
Noah has been there to support Amelia and the two have since started a relationship.
For a while it was unsure who the baby’s father could be, however Samson revealed to Noah that he slept with Amelia after a party earlier in the year.
Noah told Samson that Amelia was pregnant and it didn’t go down well with Samson.
He immediately told her to either have an abortion or put the baby up for adoption, but Amelia refused.
Last week Amelia went into labour after the storm’s strong winds knocked her over.
She made her way to a barn and was eventually found by Samson’s stepmum Lydia.
Lydia got Amelia to the hospital where she gave birth to a little girl.
As Amelia’s daughter was born slightly early she needs to stay in hospital.
Meanwhile Samson was missing in the storm.
In last night’s scenes (Monday, October 24) Samson was found and brought into hospital with a broken ankle and hypothermia.
Luckily he began to recover quite quickly.
Samson and his dad Sam, who was also in hospital following an accident in the storm, went to visit Esther.
However when Samson was alone with his daughter, he made it clear he had no interest in being a dad and told her ‘he wasn’t going to let her ruin his life.’
Emmerdale fans think another twist is coming
However some fans think there could be a twist and that Samson isn’t Esther’s dad.
On Entertainment Daily‘s Facebook page, one viewer wrote: “I don’t think he is the dad, the baby certainly wasn’t a premature baby.”
One viewer responded saying: “Not convinced it’s his baby.”
A third said: “I think Jacob is the dad.”
Another added: “But I would say do a DNA test, see if he’s the father. I don’t think he is the father.”
Since Amelia’s pregnancy storyline began, fans have come up with numerous theories about who the dad could be. What do you think?

Emmerdale usually airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
