It was recently announced Anthony Quinlan would be leaving Emmerdale.
His character Pete recently found out that his aunt Moira is cheating on husband Cain Dingle with the farmhand Nate Robinson.
The affair has been going on for weeks but Pete recently found out about it after seeing a message from Nate on Moira’s phone.
Of course there is a good chance this storyline could tie in with the character’s exit.
Entertainment Daily has a few theories as to what his exit storyline is.
Someone kills him… but who?
Cain?

Pete has been desperately trying to get Moira to end her affair with Nate, pointing out she has everything to lose.
The farm worker has been covering for his aunt but how will Cain react when he finds out about the affair?
How will he react when he finds out Pete knew the truth? Will he direct his anger at the wrong person?
Nate?
Since finding out about the affair, Pete has made it clear to Moira that she needs to end her fling with Nate.
But Nate hasn’t taken too kindly to Pete’s interfering.
Nate has already threatened Pete twice – will he follow through with his threat and kill him?
Moira?
Moira is responsible for the death of Pete’s mum Emma, so viewers know what she is capable of.
After Pete found out what she had been up to, Moira begged him not to tell Cain.
However with Cain starting to get suspicious, will she kill her nephew to cover her lies?
Goes to stay with Ross?

Pete’s brother Ross moved to Liverpool with his girlfriend Rebecca last year to start a new life together.
In tonight’s episode (October 8 2019) Pete struggled living in the same house as Moira and Cain knowing what she was doing behind her husband’s back and made the decision to move out.
It’s possible when the affair is out in the open that he doesn’t want to be caught in the middle and goes to live with his brother.
Pete leaves the village with Tracy?
In tonight’s episode viewers saw Tracy and Pete shared a kiss.
Despite Pete telling her he couldn’t take advantage of her whilst she was upset, is it really such a wild idea that they eventually end up together?
Viewers know Tracy has been going through a tough time with the loss of her dad Frank and last week she found out her friend Kerry and her daughter Amy were the ones that started the fire that killed Frank.
With Pete leaving, it’s a possibility that Tracy decides she wants to start a new life away from Emmerdale, which now holds a lot of bad memories for her.
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
