Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter has opened up about a disturbing fan encounter.
The Chas Dingle actress has revealed she was approached by a fan with an “inappropriate” request shortly after giving birth to her twin daughters.
It happened just minutes after the girls’ birth in 2017.

“I was being wheeled from just having a Caesarean section down the hospital with my girls in my arms and somebody asked for a picture,” Lucy said to the Mirror.
“I’d just come off the operating table with my newborn twins, looking like death and somebody asked if it was alright if they had a picture.

“I said: ‘Well, it’s not really appropriate,’ and he went: ‘It’s okay, I’ll just take one of you.’ That was a bit weird and inappropriate.”
How many kids does Lucy have?
Lucy is a mum to three daughters.
Eldest daughter Lola was born in 2005 and her twins, Missy and Betsy, were born in 2017.

The father of Lucy’s children is her former long-term partner Rudi Coleano. She announced their split in 2019.
Lucy gears up for two special anniversaries
On-screen Lucy will soon be celebrating her 20th anniversary of joining Emmerdale – and it coincides with the soap’s own 50th anniversary celebrations.
She said: “I’ve got nothing planned. I think the 50th will be like a celebration in itself, so I don’t know.

“I probably should have a party, but we all get together all the time anyway, so it’s like a party every weekend.”
Meanwhile Emmerdale boss Laura Shaw has teased a major storyline for Lucy’s character Chas.
The producer revealed: “Cain and Chas is our most loved sibling pairing also have a lot going on as Faith’s secret from the big week will impact on them.
“We’re actually just about to start filming a really special episode that honestly made me cry just reading the script.
“It explores more of a rich history and how their upbringing hugely affects the decisions they make in the present.
“Beyond this we will certainly se that not all those decisions are good ones.”
