Emmerdale has announced the arrival of a shock new character in the village.
The soap revealed the news in a bizarre way, with the man featuring at the end of its Earth Hour video drinking a pint alone in The Woolpack.
Actor Jurell Carter plays the mystery man but nothing has been confirmed about who he is by the soap.
The relative newcomer has only starred in small roles in Kiri and Doctors before joining the ITV soap in what must surely be a major role.
But who could he be?

James Tate’s mate
He’s definitely not James Tate, but he could be a friend of his come to the village to scope out what his pal’s mother is up to.
What better way for James to be introduced as someone just as scheming as his dear old mum, and someone willing to send his friends in to draw her fire first?
Billy Fletcher’s prison pal
He’s mysterious enough to be introduced without a name or anything about him.
He’s young enough to have been friends with Billy in prison, and he could have been released and come to find his old friend for help with something?
Bob Hope’s son
Bob has a lot of children out there, many of whom we still haven’t met.
Could this man be one of Bob’s long-lost sons come to the village to track down his dad and demand to know why he has ignored him for years?
Harriet’s mystery attacker
The vicar will soon be attacked in the village by a hooded figure.
Assuming the attacker is someone viewers haven’t met before, then this character’s arrival and unveiling is highly suspicious.

A new Dingle
There are hundreds of wild Dingles roaming the country ready and waiting to descend on the village when the time calls.
He looks like he fits in in the pub, so he could be one of the family arriving with a shocking secret.
