We hate to say we told you so, but it’s been beyond obvious that it was only a matter of time before Bernice Blackstock cheated on her boyfriend Daz Spencer.
Bernice has been growing more and more obviously tired of Daz as he ricochets from one disaster to another and meanwhile dishy doctor Cavanagh has been giving her the eye.
What is a lady of Bernice’s standing supposed to do when the village doctor is clearly one smitten kitten?
We hoped she would do the decent thing and dump Daz before playing tonsil tennis with Liam, but judging from these pics that’s not going to be the case.
Sorry, Daz.
Bernice and Liam appear to be on a date together and Bernice is clearly having a riot before the pair share a kiss.
But Bernice pulls back from the lip lock and tells Liam that they can’t go any further until she’s called things off with Daz once and for all.
Will she be a woman of her word?
Bernice and Dr Cav have been eyeing each other up for weeks while Bernie has grown more and more mortified by Daz’s antics.
With the doctor’s relationship with Maya now over thanks to her new romance with David, does this mean there is room for Bernice to make her move?
The pair flirted up a storm when Bernice called him to her salon after Faith Dingle had a funny reaction to one of the face creams the beautician had used on her.
To thank him, Bernice offered Liam a free treatment and he gratefully accepted a haircut, with sparks flying as Bernice ran her fingers through his hair.
But where will this leave poor Daz?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
