The net starts to close in on a desperate Cain Dingle next week as his erratic behaviour continues to spiral out of control, leading to him getting arrested for Joe Tate’s murder.
Ever since he broke the news to daughter Debbie that not only is her fiancé dead, but he is the one who killed him, Cain’s struggled to cope with the guilt of what he’s done.
But while Cain believes he’s killed Joe, Emmerdale fans will know that he actually isn’t the one who finished the business tycoon off, and that it is Graham Foster who has got blood on his hands.

Next week sees the Dingle women drawing straws over who gets the job of confronting Cain about his unreasonable behaviour since his confession, and it is Charity who gets the chore no one wanted.
Heading over to the farm, Charity is shocked by the state of the house, and ends up giving her ex a stern talking to. But just when it looks like she might be getting through to Cain, Charity is stunned when he tries to kiss her.
But while she is trying to fight off a handsy Cain, Matty sees the whole thing and catches it on camera, leaving Charity to push Matty out before Cain can do any more damage.
Of course it doesn’t take long for Moira to find out what has happened and she is left with a dilemma on her hands.
Aaron is convinced that the pair can work through this rough patch and mend their marriage, but will Moira agree?
But the drama doesn’t end there for the Dingles…
Distraught at what Cain has done, Debbie ends up confiding in Faith that Cain killed Joe.
But little does she know she has just sealed her dad’s fate, because later Faith unwittingly tells Matty about Joe’s murder, thinking that he already knew.
With the cat out of the bag, it isn’t long before the news spreads and the police are in the village, making a beeline for Cain.

And who was the one who shopped innocent Cain to the police?
