Emmerdale fans have watched in horror as Harriet has been subjected to some seriously sinister stalking over recent months, which ended in a terrifying climax in the church when Will tried to crush Harriet with a coffin.
Thankfully Harriet has lived to tell the tale, and despite being physically hurt by her ex, it probably hurt more when she found out that Dawn had been part of Will revenge plan to get back at Harriet for sending him to jail all those years ago.
This week sees Dawn return to the village, telling Harriet once again how sorry she is for betraying her.
Dawn begs Harriet that she needs her and doesn’t want to lose her support, and it sees the former addict is being genuine for once.
Harriet’s torn over whether to risk everything by letting Dawn back into her life again, knowing that if she turns her away she could be back on drugs again before the end of the month.
Can she really be responsible for sending Dawn back on a downward spiral once again and relapsing?

But soon it’s not just the dilemma over Dawn that Harriet is faced with, because Will also makes a shocking return.
Will tells a stunned Harriet that Dawn is in a bad way and that they desperately need her help… and despite her better judgement, Harriet can’t help but be worried about Dawn.
But as Harriet points out, Will is as much to blame for the predicament that Dawn has found herself in, and not just her.
They both clearly feel responsible for Dawn, but with all the hatred still between them, will this latest saga push them further apart than ever, or can they make amends for Dawn’s sake and help her?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
